It is an ongoing program started by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India, to encourage students of Basic Sciences, Engg. and Medicine to take up research careers in these areas.
NTSE (National Talent Search Examination)
It is a National level scholarship programme in India to identify and nurture talented students. the scheme is opened to students of Indian nationality. only students studying in class X are eligible to appear for the selection process. As it is organized by an official body (NCERT)
NSEJS
The National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) is an annual competitive exam for students in India interested in science and research careers. It is open to students in classes 11 and 12 (SX stream) with a demonstrated aptitude for scientific research.
